The hotel staff is very friendly and willing to help you out in any way they can. The beds are nice and firm, the sheets are soft, and the pillows give great support to head and neck. The bedroom furniture and lighting are very nice.
The place needs a lot of love and renovations. I found a couple of hairs in the sink and in the shower as soon as I checked in. The lighting in the common areas is fluorescent, bluish. It gives the halls an eerie, creepy feeling. It was a version of the Bates Motel. The shower has no water pressure, the shower curtain smells like mildew and the whole bathroom in general is kind of falling apart. The towels look like they've had better days. The grout is dirty. Taking a shower there is not an enjoyable experience at all. The A/C system is SO OLD that the dials to control the temperature and intensity have eroded from so many hand that have touched them, so I couldn't program it and just had to crack a window to get some ventilation. If they were to invest in a bit of renovations and warmer lighting, the place would be competing decently with the hotels around the area.
